Keelham Farm Shop is an outstanding, multi-award-winning, £20m+ turnover business that is playing no small part in the current food revolution in Yorkshire, by making available at affordable prices some of the best fresh food products from across the region.

We originally won the PR account for Keelham, on a short-term basis, to oversee the communications for a planning application of a proposed second shop in Skipton. Within months we were asked to devise and deliver an integrated media communications strategy for the original 40+ years’ shop in Thornton, as well as paving the way in Skipton, with the aims of increasing sales, driving footfall and

building a strong reputation for the brand. In addition to promoting business milestones and events, we’ve created consumer campaigns to launch products, including Keelham’s first online offering, an original, quirky range of ‘Taste Boxes’. We have achieved extensive media coverage across print, broadcast and digital platforms, regionally and nationally, including The Guardian, MSN.com, Yorkshire Post, Living North, Your Home, House & Garden and Perfect Wedding, helping to win friends and fans from far and wide.

In 2013, Keelham won Best Independent Retailer in the Observer Food Monthly Awards.

In 2015, when Keelham Farm Shop opened in Skipton, despite a number of project challenges, in the months leading up to completion, the media coverage throughout and public support was 100% positive, incorporating the client’s core values and brand messages.  The target footfall figure for two months’ post-opening was 7,000: in week one 11,500 customers visited the new Skipton shop.
