The Northern Art Prize made ripples across the art world when it launched, heightening the profile of Leeds Art Gallery and giving a platform to significant artists at a pivotal stage in their careers. The Prize paved the way for the opening of The Tetley which opened as the Prize closed and we were with the team for the whole five-year journey.
