In 2018 the Brontë Parsonage Museum celebrated the 200th anniversary of Emily Brontë’s birth, the third of their five year Brontë200 celebrations.
We were appointed to work alongside the Museum team to promote their exhibitions and events programme around Emily2018 which featured creative partner Lily Cole, and secured significant broadcast, print and online local, national and international coverage in advance and throughout the year, ensuring a continued presence in the media.
Since then we have continued to support the
onsite team on a project by project basis. This has included in 2019 year four of Brontë200 with a new installation inspired by Patrick Brontë from the Society’s creative partner Frank Cottrell-Boyce, the Brontë Festival of Women’s Writing and ending the year with an emotional high-profile fundraising campaign to bring home to Haworth one of Charlotte Brontë’s ‘little books’. This required a sustained level of media engagement to reach and capture the hearts and minds of potential supporters and resulted in financial targets being reached for the charities first ever Crowdfunder campaign and ultimately, securing the historic item’s return to the museum.
